WSB Guineas Day- Kenilworth Racecourse
There is nothing quite like the mother city in December- it oozes fine weather, spectacular views with plenty to do!
But more importantly, Kenilworth Racecourse is offering the most spectacular Saturday afternoon- fit for the whole family.
We start the festive season on the 15th December with a Christmas Market on course- perfect timing to get your last minute Christmas gifts (or if you’ve left them a little bit late- there should be something for everyone). There is even a designated and secured kiddies entertainment area where for just R20 per child, you can shop with the assurance that your little one will be properly entertained and well taken care of. Each kid to the course will receive a lucky dip gift and we urge you to make sure you have the whole day assigned as Father Christmas will also be making an early appearance before his big night on the 24th.
In the season of giving, it’s not only the racing folk that stand to win- we have R100, 000 worth of prize giveaways, with R20, 000 worth of home appliances. ( T&Cs apply)
And if you’re looking for a seriously great way to start off 2019, follow the “It’s A Rush” and “Things To Do With Kids” Facebook pages as we have an outstanding opportunity for parents that have children aged between 9-12 years old to win R10, 000 towards their 2019 school fees.

The World Sports Betting Grade 1 Fillies Guineas and Cape Guineas are the features on the day (these are the first alternate legs to the Triple Crown & Tiara series taking place on the Highveld from February 2019) and while you take in the array of live entertainment, be sure to sit down and enjoy any of the food- stalls on offer. But if you’re interested in a more formal setting, book a table in the Paddock Room where you too can stand a chance to win a 2 night stay at the Canal Walk Hotel. (T’s & C’s apply).
This is a magnificent day- and is the best way to kick start your December vacation..
